I was commissioned by The Creative Practice Research Academy (CPRA) to create a visual identity for the newly established Academy at the University of Central Lancashire. The identity embodies the range of creative practice within the academy and can be used across a variety of digital and print media.
Thinking behind the identity - I created a set of squared 'block tiles' that came from the combination of the CPRA letterforms internal shapes and externally influenced patterns. Each tile was designed to work individually and collectively. Providing the client the option to apply to social platforms, as well as producing an identity that can be easily recognisable to the Academy no matter the application. The overall look emulates the Risograph print form. If you want to see the origins of sketches that inspired the final artwork, please visit my instagram page here.
