I was recently commissioned privately, to produce Four separate illustrations depicting a UK season. Each illustration that I digitally illustrated, represented a season but also represented a family member that was born within the actual season. Very cool and I guess rare for a family to have each member be born in each season!

With each illustration, I wanted to capture the very essence of the UK's eclectic seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter. Alongside this, I wanted to represent the family member in someway, making each as personal as possible, but at the same time be understood by anybody not related and still work as stand alone illustrations. I was supplied by the family, with a list of specific interests that each family member held, I then took the list and amalgamated them in to a feeling or an object. This helped me achieve the final illustrations you see here. The final sizes of each are A3 (294mm x 420mm)

The whole process was completed within 2 weeks. From ideas, through to sketches and final approval. It was a really enjoyable process to work with the family, providing the 4 personal illustrations!
